Adriano Ticao – Coach Ticao first played and coached in his home of Brazil. While there he became a certified beach coach in 2004 through their national program. In 2007 he came to the US where he’s continued to drill volleyball players by combining the Brazilian and US styles of play. Some of the top players he has worked with are Nicole Branagh on the AVP and Pedro Solberg on the FIVB.
In 2009 his coaching raised the AVP team of Tatiana Minello/Priscilla Lima from 11th to 3rd place finishes. Along with top players he coaches high school and club teams where his effectiveness of breaking down the game applies to all levels.

Drill 7 – Game to 5, 2 in a Row
(Normal Side)
Now we are going into competitive game play! It is one player verse the other player. Serve with 1 free ball to the side that wins the point. You must get two in a row to win a real point. Free ball goes to players normal playing side. This is a great side out drill.
Coaching Reinforcement
Less coaching, rather reinforce what was taught earlier. Stop the play if needed to do this.
