This practice plan is designed for Top High School / Adult / College / Pro players in early season. It uses the Brazilian style of volleyball coaching meaning high reps, lots of ball touches, and making every drill a competition in order to bring out the best in your athletes.

Adriano Ticao – Coach Ticao first played and coached in his home of Brazil. While there he became a certified beach coach in 2004 through their national program. In 2007 he came to the US where he’s continued coaching by combining the Brazilian and US styles of play. Some of the top players he has worked with are Nicole Branagh on the AVP and Pedro Solberg on the FIVB.
In 2009 his coaching raised the AVP team of Tatiana Minello/Priscilla Lima from 11th to 3rd place finishes. Along with top players he coaches high school and club teams where his effectiveness of breaking down the game applies to all levels.

Drill 12 – Pressure on Offense Race to 10
This and team volleyball drills help any player improve their offense in pressure situations. The drill is a progression on the previous. It’s a race to 10 with the serving team starting at 5-0. The first team to ten wins. Note both players on the serving team serve and they can serve any player they want.
