“Stepping in Pairs” is a volleyball ques Stein uses to describe moving your feet so that you end up with a wide base and are not “Water Skiing” the opposite verbal which is having a narrow base. Wherever possible when contacting the ball to pass or set or play it in defense or transition the better your base the easier it is to have spring (See previous video on Volleyball Spring) which in turn results in more ball control.
