This is another great warm up drill which focuses on covering the hitter as well as lifting the ball after you cover the hit and getting back and ready to spike. This drill works on allot of beach skills that are often ignored but by doing it during the warm up it allows the players to work on skills while building into their hitting.
This is a great warm up setting drill with Jason Lockhead, AVP and FIVB Player / Coach. This drill is designed for high level volleyball players but can be modified to make it easier or harder and you see how Jason does this, making the drill much harder as the players progress through it.

This is day 2 / practice 2 of volleyball coaching nightmares. In this practice Andor Gyulai takes over practice and tries to teach the coach (Kerri Eich) important volleyball coaching concepts that she can use when coaching the team. Also where needed Andor sets a tone of how practice should be run and how the players should behave.
This video features Andor teaching and running the his Omaha Pressure Serving Volleyball Drill. This drill is designed for all skill levels and will help teach your team to serve aggressively under pressure. On top of this the drill does a great job of building team unity. The drill should be run once or twice in practice and can be used to raise the energy of practice plus have some fun!
This video features Andor taking most of the team except liberos through a blocking trips drill. This drill is just flat out ugly, because the players have never run it nor have they effectively been taught how to block. Yet in cases like this it is important to struggle thought the drill so the players can get better. This is what Andor does with Kerri and the team.

This series of 3 videos follows 2 drills Andor sets up for the players. The drills divide the outsides and liberos on one court to work on serving and passing while on the other court Andor takes the middles and setters to work of movement patterns. This video series is really basic in nature and is designed for players very new to the game. In this case Uni High has several players that have just started playing volleyball, meaning they have played for a year or two, yet they are extremely athletic. This drill works to teach how to be an effective middle player.
Modified on the net pepper volleyball drill with 3 players is a great multi – skill to follow up 90 passes drill. The drill builds on the work players did to imprint good form in the 90 passes drill and now takes that to a more game like situation on the net. The result is players now work on their passing more like what they will see off a serve receive or a free ball.
The setter is the most important player on the court touching the ball almost twice as much as any other player on the court. This volleyball setter drill helps the setter during a time in practice when not much is going on get better with their hand and footwork technique for setting.

The 90 Passes skill building warm up drill is a great drill to teach players concentration, while warming them up focusing on the important skill of passing. What the drill is able to accomplish is a high number of reps (90 For each player) in a really short period of time with very specific focuses, while passing from different points on the volleyball court and onto the net.

This is the first series of videos where we can see Kerri coaching and observe her coaching style and what drills she likes to run and why. Although the drills she runs are not very good in our opinion based upon the skill of the team and what we see as the team goals it is worth watching so that you can later compare what Andor suggest and why by comparison.

In this video Andor has enough and based upon only being in the gym for 4 days decides to take over the practice and run a new offensive drill. Unfortunately it becomes very clear quickly that the level of drills Kerri was running the team at, did not match their skill level and Andor quickly evaluates this while trying to run this first drill.
