This series of videos contain the 3 ball wash volleyball drill for middle blockers. This great drill helps middle blockers with eye sequences and footwork. This helps middles with obvious game situation moves that often get neglected because they are not practiced successfully! Additionally it helps middles and blockers more successfully read the game, plus focus on watching the hitters arm swing.
An example of how this drill helps middles is: on a bad pass or dig that lands behind the 10 foot line in area 5 / area 6, most likely the set is going to the outside in area 4. This means the middle should take a small step to the area 4 position.
This is by far the best series of volleyball video we have filmed for middles and reading the game. It shows up close when the middle used the proper eye sequence they block far more balls than when they do not. Also it successfully shows the correlation of the blockers watching the hitters arm swing and blocking balls.
