Moving to attack is one of the most important and under practiced skills in beach volleyball. Unlike indoor volleyball the person who receives serve will 80-90 percent of the time be the same person who spikes or attacks the ball. In this series of 2 videos beach volleyball Olympian Stein Metzger teaches how to move successfully so that you can spike the ball after passing it. Stein calls this “Moving without the ball.”
This is a great series of instructional videos and drills and can be used by players of all skill levels to improve their game.
